Lorraine Zahran Petersen, 101, of Fayetteville passed away on October 20, 2022.
Lorraine was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Maronite Catholic Church. She was loved by many friends in Fayetteville and Cumberland County. She was an active poet for many years and had several of her poems published in The Fayetteville Observer.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 28, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. Burial to follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Michael the Archangel Maronite Catholic Church in Lorraine’s name.
