Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are asking the public for help in locating two vehicles of interest in a March 19 shooting outside an Owen Drive hotel that left three people dead and three others injured.
The vehicles are a Ford Raptor pickup truck with North Carolina license plate 81D5DV and a Jeep Patriot SUV with North Carolina license plate RDP1513, police said in a release. The rear window of the Jeep was shot out during the incident.
Local and federal authorities are investigating the shooting, which happened in the parking lot of the Baymont Ramada.
Police previously said the shooting occurred during a “confrontation’’ between members of the Hells Angels, the Red Devils, the Infamous Ryders and the La Familia motorcycle gangs.
Three people were killed in the shooting.
William Franklin Davis Sr., 42, of Fayetteville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Keith Allan Dickey, 37, of Lumber Bridge, and Donald Dillenbeck, 49, of Vestal, New York, died later at the hospital, police said.
The names of those injured have not been released.
Earlier this month, two men were arrested in connection with a fight at a gas station that police said was related to the parking lot shooting later that night. Police said the fight was between rival gang members.
Dalton Emmanuel Laperriere, 26, of the 2400 block of Government Road in Clayton, and Kerry Helms Lawing, 49, of the 2300 block of Wilmington Highway, were charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and conspiracy, police said.
