Fayetteville police looking for man they say removed electronic monitor

Fayetteville police are searching for a man who removed an electronic monitoring device, according to a news release.

Austin Randall, 26, removed a GPS device at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to the news release from the Fayetteville Police Department.

The device was removed in the area of the 2500 block of Bel Aire Street, the news release said.

Randall was on electronic monitoring while on pretrial release on a charge of robbery with a dangerous weapon, the release said.

Randall has brown hair, is about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, and weighs about 300 pounds, the release said.
