Cumberland County Public Library offers experiences and resources for book lovers and knowledge seekers alike

Posted

The library will always be a place for book lovers and knowledge seekers to find and borrow materials — but the library is also so much more.

All eight Cumberland County Public Library locations are places to explore and have meaningful experiences too! Whether it’s learning a new language, attending a line dancing program or joining bilingual story time, your library offers books, programs, experiences and resources for all members of our diverse community.

At Cumberland County Public Library, you can:

  • Check out books, DVDs, e-books and audiobooks without worrying about fines or fees for late returns.
  • Attend programs for children, teens, adult and family audiences. Check out our online calendar to see upcoming programs and events.
  • Use the BookMatch service to get personalized reading recommendations from librarians (aka Book Wizards). It’s simple — fill out a form and you will receive your personalized reading list via email within one week!
  • Reserve conference or activity rooms free of charge.
  • Use our virtual, chat-based reference service to have text-based interactions with library staff for your information needs.
  • Attend a Tech Time with our Digital Navigators to learn more about your devices and navigate more smoothly in a tech world.
