Francisca Villalongo, 85, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in her home surrounded by her family.
Francisca was born in Puerto Rico on April 2, 1937, daughter to the late Mercedes Villalongo and Conrada Gomez. She studied nursing in college for 2 years, became an LPN and worked as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. Francisca loved her family and she will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Juana Maldonado.
She is survived by her Children, Lissette Burgos of Fayetteville, NC, Frank R. Yambo and his wife, Ketty of Saint Paul’s, NC, Anita Rivera and husband Francisco of Orlando, FL; a brother, Francisco Villalongo and his wife, Miriam Serrano of Orlando, FL; sisters, Mercedes Villalongo and husband Joel Velez of Orlando, FL, Milagros Villalongo of Fayetteville, NC, Maria Isabell Villalongo and husband, David Conde of Puerto Rico, Carmen Luz Villalongo of Wilmington, NC and Isabell Villalongo and husband, Ventura Delgado, of Puerto Rico; 27 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members.
Visitation will be 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Sunday, April 10, 2022 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
Funeral Services will begin at 4:00 PM following the visitation.
